Biography
The son of William Baker and Olive (Barnes) Baker, Charlie was born in Monroe Township in 1871.[citation needed] He lived there with his family.[1] By 1900, Charlie and his parents had moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado, where he and his father operated a dairy farm in Fort Morgan, Colorado.[2] His father passed away in 1901 and Charlie moved to California. In 1920, he lived in Glendale, California, working as the foreman at a creamery. He had three boarders, all of whom worked at the creamery.[3] In 1940, at the age of 69, Charlie lodged at Chester Arms Place Apartments on West 23rd Street in Los Angeles, lodging with Arthur Larson and 84-year-old Mary Haggerty.[4] He passed away in San Bernardino County, California at the age of 82.[5]
