Henry was born on 2 January 1810 at Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England.[1][2] He was the son of Charles Baly and Anne Cook. He was a wine and spirit merchant.
He died on 9 October 1879 at Nelson, New Zealand.[3]
There is no indication he and his wife, had children.
