Biography

He is the son of Eliphalet Banks and Hannah Saunders.


When Obadiah Banks was born in 1829, in Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada, his father, Eliphalet Banks, was 46 and his mother, Hannah Saunders, was 34. He married Margaret Riley about 1854. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. He lived in Wilmot, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1871 and Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1881. He died in 1901, in Virginia East, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 72.
