Biography

Susan was baptised July 22, 1831 in St Austell, Cornwall, England. She was the daughter of Richard and Mary Barrett.^[1][2]

Her marriage to George Uglow in 1855 was registered in the 2nd Quarter in Truro registration district in Cornwall. ^[3]They were living in Southampton, Hampshire soon after their marriage, which is also where their first 4 children were born.
