Margaret Barrie was born on February 12, 1858 in Lanark, Lanarkshire, Scotland[1]. Her parents were Ninian Barrie and Margaret Donald. She married Thomas Brown on October 29, 1875[2] She died in 1937 in Lanark, Lanarkshire, Scotland[3]
