Minoah Stone Bassham, 8/10/820 - 1/2/1900. Served as a Private with the 27th Kentucky Infantry, Company B. He served alongside his nephew Elijah Basham. Fold 3 Military records show Private Basham was a patient in Hospital # 5 Louisville, Kentucky on 6/4/1862. The Hospital Muster Roll for September/November 1862 lists him as absent. The Hospital Muster Roll for 10/1/1862 lists him on discharge furlough. The Hospital Muster Roll for 12/1862 list him on discharge furlough

The Hospital Muster Roll for 1/1863 listed him as sick at home in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. The February March/Hospital Muster Roll 1863 listed as on discharge furlough. In 4/1863, he was sent to Henry Clay General Hospital Louisville Kentucky as a patient. In 4/1864 he was listed as a deserter, returning 4/30/1864. In 5/1864 he was listed as a hospital patient. Hospital Muster Roll for June/ September 1864 listed as hospital patient at Madison, Indiana. He was discharged in 10/1864 at Madison, Indiana.
