Ruben Bachelor is listed in the Second Regiment, Third Company under Major Isaac Foot. He served from May 3 to Oct 8, 1755. This was excerpted from Arnold Papers in State Library and Colonial Records. The Fourth Company was led by Capt. Samuel Sanford Jr.
In the 1757 campaign, a Ruben Bacheler served for 17 days in Capt. Hitchcock's Company in the 2nd Regiment. They defended Fort Wm Henry. PP. 252.
