Research Notes
Euphemia, his mother, born Scotland, was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Robertson, both born Scotland.
Bertha Koerner, his wife : spellings in records vary : Kerner, Kaevner, Toerner. In 1920 Census, it is stated that she was born Illinois c 1865, her father born in Germany and mother in Austria. She had a brother George E Kerner born c 1870 Illinois. [5] She was age 75 in 1940 Census. [6]
