Meredith Bayles is a part of US Black heritage.
Meredith lived in Bourbon Co, KY. She was owned and enslaved by Nathan Bayles. In 1851 Meredith was listed on Nathan Bayles probate inventory valued at $650.[1]
Meredith was sold in 1851 for $711 at auction.[2] It is unknown who the new owner was.
