Albert Bayless was born in 1815 in Tennessee, United States. He married Louisa Hunter on January 24, 1846 in Washington County, Tennessee[1][2]
and they had four children, as recorded in the 1850 U.S. Census in Washington, Tennessee.[3]His wife died in 1860 and he remarried in 1863 to Mary Ann Smith, also in Washington County,[4] and they had at least four children, who were living with him and his wife, Mary Ann, recorded in the 1870 U.S. Census in Washington County.[5]Albert died August 31, 1875 and was buried in Cherokee Community Cemetery in Jonesborough, Washington County,[6]His will was probated on October 4, 1875 in Washington County.
