09-11-2020. A descendant of William Baytop reports that William is buried behind his house. William’s grave was exhumed years ago and they matched his broken leg bone with the records from where he was shot. And William had two sons by a slave. When the Civil War started William hid these two sons in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. And these descendants in the Blue Ridge Mountains still have “tons of information on William.”
