Biography

Maria Bazan was born in La Casita, Texas on 22 November 1911 to Basilio Bazan and Clara Gracia. She married Tomas Garcia on 14 November 1929 in Starr County, Texas.^[1] They had 5 known children, and Maria was a homemaker.^[2] Maria died on 29 March 1949 from a cerebral hemorrhage due to hypertension. She is buried at La Casita Cemetery.^[3]
