She married Tomas Garcia on 14 November 1929 in Starr County, Texas.[1] They had 5 known children, and Maria was a homemaker.[2] Maria died on 29 March 1949 from a cerebral hemorrhage due to hypertension. She is buried at La Casita Cemetery.[3]
