IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the twenty second day of April in the year one thousand seven hundred and forty I Robert Beall of Pr. George's Parish in the Province of Maryland planter being sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks to God therefore calling into mind the mortality of my body, do make and ordain this my last will and Testament first of all I recommend my soul into the hands of God who gave it my body to the Earth to be buried in a decent manner and touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I dispose of the same in the following manner
ITEM I gave and bequeath unto James and John Odell one negro man named Tom to them and their heirs forever. ITEM I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Beall the wife of Nathaniel Beall one bed Tick Bolster and Bed Clothes and one hhd of Tobacco weighing neat nine hundred ITEM I give and bequeath unto James and Roger Beall the sons of Nathaniel Beall two cows and one yearling to them and their heirs forever ITEM I give and bequeath unto my sister Sarah Odell the wife of Regnall Odell one bay horse to her and her heirs forever or twelve pounds whole gold to be left to her choice. ITEM It is my will and desire that onenegro man named Worrow should be sold and the money he is sold for to be divided equally between James Beall and Joseph Beall. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my brother Joseph Beall all the remaining part of my personal estate both in Maryland and in England to him and his heirs forever. I also constitute and ordain my brother Joseph Beall my Executor of this my last Will and Testament it is my Will that he follow the Council and directions of John Beall Senr. In Witness whereof I have sett my hand and seal this Day and Year above written.
