Henry Warren Bean is the son of Benjamin Warren Bean and Sarah (Swett) Bean.
Henry married May Viola Brackett, daughter of William Henry Brackett and Hannah Emily (Silver) Brackett of Auburn, Maine.
Henry was first employed in shoe manufacturing firms in Auburn ME, and then Hanover, PA. He and his family moved again to Jersey City, NJ where he became a traveling clothing salesman. Moving again to Melrose, MA he continued in this business, eventually switching to selling sporting goods for a company in Plymouth, NH. In about 1937, Henry and May moved to Freeport, ME where he worked in the sporting goods establishment started by his brother, Leon (LL) Bean.
Henry and May were Universalists (religion) and the parents of two sons:
