His will is dated 23 October 1747 in Newtown and proved on 23 March 1747/48 in Danbury. He mentions his wife Elizabeth, his sons, William, Ebenezer, Samuel Jabez, and Enos, and his two daughters, Elizabeth McCune/Mackeune (perhaps McEwen), and Hannah Beardsley.[5]
His inventory was completed on 26 January 1747/48 in Newtown.[6]
