Oscar was the owner of a department store in King William's Town. He was also a keen golfer and cricketer. He played for Borders in several First Class matches:

Walter (age 32) married Marguerita Gladys Lynn (age 29) on 22 April 1920 in King William's Town, King William's Town, Kaapprovinsie, Suid-Afrika.^[2]

Walter was born about 1884. He is the son of Walter Beauchamp and Sarah Starr.
