Adelaide was born in 1863. She is the daughter of André Beauchemin and Genevieve delorme. She married William Carrière of St. Boniface in 1883[1] with whom she had one son, Francis Alex William Carrière, but tragically William died shortly after conceiving Francis. She later went on to marry Camille Dufault of Québec in 1889[2] and had at least 6 more children before passing away in 1940.[3]
