Biography

Kent (historic flag)
Michael Beavis was born in Lewisham, Kent, England.
Michael John Beavis was born in 1928, the son of John Henry Beavis and his wife Nelly Doris Walter, with the event being registered in the 1st Quarter at Lewisham.[1]
This profile is part of the Beavis Name Study.

It has not been determined where Michael and his sister were on the 29th September 1939, as it is possible they were, by then, away at school.

Michael was a Chartered Accountant.

Through at least the 1950s and 1960s, he was a registered voter living at 17 Hill House Road, Streatham. Also registered to vote at that address in 1955 were his sister Anne, Florence Maude Townsend (who had been a companion in the households of his great-grandfather (at 39), and his grandfather (at age 68), and Norah Sophia Townsend (Florence's sister-in-law). In 1960, only Florence was still in residence. By 1962 (Florence having died in 1961) Michael was the only registered voter at 17 Hill House Road.[2]

When his stepmother died in April 1966, Michael was named in the probate declaration for her estate, along with the Midland Bank Executor and Trustee Company Limited. (She left effects to the value of £15,209.)[3]

Michael John Beavis passed away in 1996, having never married and with no known children, with the event being registered in the 4th Quarter at Bromley.[4] A funeral service was held at the Beckenham Crematorium at 2 p.m. on the 18th.[5]
The disposition of his cremains is unknown.

What would be the parameters for that? {{England Sticker|London|Lewisham}} does not work

My apologies - it's the square brackets - if I use them in this messaging system nothing shows up. [[ ]]
You did say sticker, which uses the {{ curly braces }}

Categories (above the biography header) use the [[ square brackets ]]

I'll adjust the category, but I don't think I can do anything with the sticker.

No, the sticker's fine - my apologies for the mistake! Working like a zombie!
Zombieism is hazardous to your WikiTreeing! (I'll message you about those brackets.)

Lewisham is not in Middlesex. It was formerly in Kent, but in 1928 it was in the county of London.
