Biography

Anna Catharina Beck was born about 1713, most likely somewhere near Hoffenheim, Germany.[1]

According to Fegley family tradition, Anna Catharina Beck was married to Bernhard Voegele about 1732 in Germany.

Bernhard Fegley immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1733 on the Ship Hope.[2] The ship's manifest did not include women.

Anna Catharina Beck died before Bernhard Fegele made his will. Bernhard "Fegele" made his will in German, dated April 18, 1781. It was presented to the probate court of Berks County, Pennsylvania on April 2,1782.[3] The following children were named in the 1782 Will of Bernhard Fegele of Longswamp Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania:

Christian, the "eldest son"
Catharine
Anna Margaretha
Eve
Henry
Peter
Anna Maria
John Bernard, the "youngest son"
