The 1915 South Dakota Census for Christine Miller, daughter of Chales and Emma Fear (Beebe) Miller, establishes that she was born in Kansas in 1912, and that Charles, Emma and Christine Miller moved to Parkston, South Dakota from Kansas in 1913, when Christine was about a year old. {Editorial hence the photo of Wilbur and Christine was taken in Kansas, shortly before her parents moved to Parkston, South Dakota}

Beebe was married to Margaret Rowe, the granddaughter of Alexander Rowe at the time this receipt was issued. It is likely this was the colt that had knocked Alexander over and was the proximate cause of his death. }
