  1. ) John Beebe, was baptized at New London on 7 Dec 1701. John married Ruth Pratt (d. 15 Sep 1794), daughter of Sgt. Joseph and Sarah Pratt about 1726.
  2. ) In 1738 the family of John Beebe moved to Kent, Connecticut, and in 1762 they moved to Canaan, Columbia County, New York. John was one of the original settlers in Kent, Connecticut. He died 15 July 1788 at Canaan, NY. He and his wife Ruth are buried in Chatham, NY.
