When JAMES ALLEN BEEGLE was born on November 19, 1852, his father, JAMES, was 28 and his mother, MELISSA, was 20. He married MARGARET ANN CHRISTISON on January 16, 1873, in Ozawkie, Kansas. They had ten children in 31 years. He died on May 16, 1919, in Salem, Oregon, at the age of 66, and was buried in Scappoose, Oregon.
