Came as a child to the USA (1854) with parents Christian Beer & Magdalena Aeschliman
Married into another Swiss immigrant family in Elgin IA Anna Pfarrer. While the first few children were born in Iowa most were born in Roanoke. (between 1870-1872 they must have moved.
