Biography
William Greenwood Bell was born on 8 May 1828 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, United States, son of William Bell (~1794 - 1831) and Martha Patty (Henry) Dale (1802 - 1882).
William (~22) married Amanda M. Dale (~15) , daughter of George B. Dale and Jane Fowler, in 1850 in Clearfield. Their children were:
- Samantha Josephine (Bell) Fox (1855 - 1929)
- Martha Jane (Bell) Jordon (1856 - 1937)
- David Frank Bell (1859 - 1941).
William died on 19 Aug 1917 in DuBois, Clearfield, Pennsylvania aged 89. He is buried in New Millport Cemetery, New Millport, Pennsylvania.
