Biography

Louivery (Bell) Abernathy is a part of US Black heritage.

Lou Ivery Bell, daughter of Noah and Ellen Bell, was the wife of William L Abernathy and mother of civil rights activist Ralph Abernathy.

She married William Abernathy on 31 December 1905 in Marengo County, Alabama.^[1]

She died in 1947 in Linden, Alabama.^[2]
