Biography
When Emily Jane Bennett was born on July 13, 1856, in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England, her father, Thomas, was 44, and her mother, Winifred, was 37. She married Robert William Trist on September 22, 1890, in Simcoe, Ontario after her elder sister Mary died. Her sister Mary was married to the same man Robert W Trist. Emily and Robert had four children in 14 years. She died in July 1945 at the age of 89.
