James C Beny was enumerated as boarder of the head of household in Militia District 849, Calhoun (west & north part) Calhoun town, Gordon County, Georgia for the June 13, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born November 1856 in New York and had been married for fourteen years. He was a (merchant) jewelry. Also included in the household are head William D Richards, wife Saman Richards, daughter Minerva Richards, son Lutha Richards, daughter Ethel Richards, son Roy Richards, son Harry Richards, daughter Katie Richards, daughter Annie B Boaz, son-in-law Thomas M Boaz, boarder Lonis Or Louis Fink, boarder Frank L Malone and servant Robert Montgomery as seen in an image of the original census.[1]
