Thomas Berry U.E.L. was born about 1772, in White Plains, Westchester, New York, son of Thomas Berrow and Mary Edmondson.

Thomas Barrow who resettled in Nova Scotia in 1783 is listed in the Loyalist Directory. Note: He came to Nova Scotia from New York in 1783 with his mother and two brothers as Loyalist from the recent unpleasantness in the former colonies. [1]

Passenger number 197 on HMS Clinton, picking up 28 Sept 1783 off Staten Is"l, NY, delivered to Port Roseway NS 26 October 1783. Muster Table HMS "Clinton", Document # ADM 36/9966 Public Record Office, Kew, Surrey, England. Copied by Frank Davis, transcribed by Mette Griffin[2]

He married Rebecca Henshaw on 13 August 1796, in Digby, Digby, Nova Scotia.[3] Thomas Berry married Isabella Delong, 10 Aug 1818.[4] They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Annapolis, Nova Scotia, British Colonial America in 1861. He died on 31 July 1864, in Clementsport, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 93, and was buried in United Church Of Canada Cemetery, Clementsport, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada.
