In the 1940 census Adam Berry Jr (age 19), Laborer in road construction, was the married head of household in Shrewsbury, Monmouth, New Jersey with wife Elizabeth Berry (age 17), Housemaid in private family.^[4]

In 1942, Adam Frank Berry 21 and next of kin Mrs. Elisabeth Berry were living in Eatontown, Monmouth, New Jersey. He worked at the Raritan Arsenal in Middlesex, New Jersey.^[5]

Adam F. Berry Sr. 52 of Pine Brook, New Jersey died on 18 Aug 1973 in Neptune, New Jersey. He was born in Staten Island. He is survived by his widow Louise, two sons, two daughters, six brothers, six sisters, a stepsister [?], and stepmother, Mrs. Pearl G. Berry of New Shrewsbury, New Jersey.^[6]
