Miles was born in on 26 Mar 1828 in Peterman, Monroe County, Alabama. He is the son of Archibald Biggs and Elizabeth McClure. He passed away on 6 Feb 1910 in McNeil, Caldwell County, Texas. Miles is buried in the McNeil Cemetery, McNeil, Caldwell County, Texas.
Miles Monroe Biggs briefly served in the Civil War on the Confederate side. He was a farmer who emigrated to Texas with his young family soon after statehood.
