Biography
James Byrd was born in 1815 in North Carolina. He is the son of Samuel J. Bird and Christina Ader. He married Nancy Davis on December 14, 1843. They had four known children during their marriage. He died on January 9, 1899, in Missouri having lived a long life of 84 years.
