Helen Bishop, daughter of John H. Bishop and Lydia McCann was born 3 SEP 1857, in Bluff Point, Jerusalem, Yates Co., New York. Notes: 1857 is the date on her gravestone. Her death certificate says b. Sept 3 1859, but if you calculate the date of birth from the age given (72 y 9 m 12 dys) on the death certificate, it calculates to 1857. 1900 Census says b. Sept 1857.^[1][2][3]

Helen & Delos had 3 children as reported on the 1900 and 1910 census but at that time only one Lysle (b. 1899) was living. Ina is buried at Hillside Cemetery,^[5] and one other who also must have died young.
