Mary Jane Bissenden was baptised at St Andrew's Church, in Dublin, in 1866. The address of her parents was given as 2 Clarence Place. She was the daughter of George Bissenden and "Jane Plumber". Mary's godparents (or sponsors) were Daniel Plumber and Kate Plumber, presumably related to her mother Jane.[1]
