William/Willem Blaauw was born in 1748 in Amsterdam, the son of Gerrit Blaauw and Maria Agnest van Heyst (of Dutch ancestry).[1] He married Louisa Puller 28 July 1789[2] and they had a son, William Henry near London in 1793. William died in 1808 in Sussex, England.[3]
