1857 Will: I also give and bequeath to the said Elbert the following slaves, namely, Isaac his wife Sukey and their four children Victoria, Adavine, Charles, and Pliant; Bill, Henry, Betsey, Sabra, Perry, Prince, Emily, and her child Melissa, Grace and her three children, Dick, Eliza and Edmund; Dave carpenter and Tom Ditcher.
In 1870, Gracy was living in Saluda, Edgefield, South Carolina as a domestic servant with four children: Dick, age 17; Eliza, age 13; Butler Bland, age 8; and Mansur Bland, age 6.
