In 1835 Christian Friedrich Bleeke (listed as Christ Blecke, age 14) and his brother Carl Heinrich Bleeke (listed as Henry Blecke, age 17) arrived in Baltimore aboard the ship Copernicus.[1]
After Louisa's untimely death, Christian married Anna Maria Rupp.[3] Christian and Anna had ten children together.
"Christian Bleeke, one of the oldest and best known farmers of Union Township, Adams County, died last week. In the early days the deceased made daily visits to Monroeville to ship and receive goods..."

He was the son of John H Ph. Bleeke. Along with his father and brother Karl, he was a founding member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, which is located in Union Township, Adams County, Indiana, USA. [5]
Christian Bleeke passed away in 1899 and was buried at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Union Township, Adams County, Indiana.
