On 6 Aug 1849 Christian married Louisa Augusta Emelie Fahlsing or Vahlsing.[2] The couple had three children. Louisa died on 29 Nov 1856 at age 23.

After Louisa's untimely death, Christian married Anna Maria Rupp.[3] Christian and Anna had ten children together.

He was the son of John H Ph. Bleeke. Along with his father and brother Karl, he was a founding member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, which is located in Union Township, Adams County, Indiana, USA. [5]

Christian Bleeke passed away in 1899 and was buried at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Union Township, Adams County, Indiana. [6]
