Biography

Uriah Blue was born 2 Dec 1746 in Hampshire, Virginia, the son of John Blue and Mary Marshall. Uriah Blue married Susannah Williams about 1772. He died on 14 Apr 1814.^[1][2] He died in Hampshire, VA.

Uriah Blue died without a will. "An Inventory of the Estate of Uriah Blue Decd. May the 24th 1814 (sic)" was recorded on 16 Jan 1815 in Hampshire, Virginia.^[3][4] The inventory included an appraisal of his 11 enslaved people.
