Biography

Wilbur was born August 1, 1881 in Illinois, probably in or near Petersburg, the first of four boys born to Lilburn Pollard Boggs and Lydia (Davis) Boggs.

Wilbur married Nellie Mills on November 5, 1900 in St. Louis, Missouri and had 3 children with her, Ralph in 1901, Ruth in 1908 and Edna in 1910. Edna died in childbirth on March 18 and Nellie died of complications on March 30.

Later in 1910, Wilbur married Mary (Marie) Busch and had 5 children with her- Alma in 1911, Leta in 1913, Wilbur, Jr.in 1916, Clarence in 1918 and Edna Mabel in 1921.

Wilbur was listed in the 1910 Census. ^[1]

Wilbur died on August 27, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri and is buried in St. Peter's Cemetery in Normandy, St. Louis County, Missouri with his first wife, Nellie, and his son Ralph.
