Biography

Richard Bonfoy was born December 22, 1729 in Dighton, Bristol, Massachusetts. He was the son of Richard and Hannah Bonfoey. [1] Dighton, Bristol, Massachusetts Vital Records, 1713-1790. Film #883790.

Richard married Anne Bailey on September 28, 1749 in Haddam. His brother Benanuel married Anne’s sister Rachel. Richard and Anne Bonfoey had two children: Sarah, born October 8, 1750, and Henry born August 26, 1754. [2]
