Raymond Bonser was born in Western Australia, Australia

Raymond Albert Bonser was born on 19 March 1920 in Northam, Western Australia, Australia.^[1] He was the son of George Bonser and Christina McLeod.

Raymond enlisted on 3 March 1941 in Maylands, Western Australia. From 19 February 1942 until 11 July 194 he served in the Citizen Military Forces. He transferred to the Australian Imperial Forces on the 12 July 1942 and served there until his discharge on 21 December 1945.^[2]

Raymond married Dorothy May McLean in Perth, Western Australia, on 28 November 1942 when he was 22 years old.^[3] They had 1 child together.

In 1958 Raymond and Dorothy lived in Inglewood, Western Australia where he worked as a brewery employee.^[4]

Raymond died on 11 Dec 1972, aged 52, in South Perth, Western Australia, Australia.^[5][6] He was buried in the Roman Catholic section at Karrakatta Cemetery and Crematorium, Karrakatta, Nedlands City, Western Australia, Australia. ^[7]
