Research Notes

Sir Robert Booth (Judge) was his father-in-law through his first marriage to Ann. [8]

His older brother Henry was active in the Exclusion crisis 1679-81 and was imprisoned in the Tower for his part in the Rye House Plot of 1683. Henry was twice more committed to the Tower, accused of high treason for having supported the Duke of Monmouth's rebellion. Released 1686 following which, in 1688 he mustered forces in support of William of Orange. Compared to Robert’s ecclesiastical lifestyle, this must have been interesting! [9]

Booth-10448 and Booth-7322 appear to represent the same person because: Both married to the same wife

I can tidy up if you wish

Thanks Mike
