Pierre Boucher was born on 28 May 1855 and baptized two days later in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick, the son of Louis Boucher and Dorothée Caissie.[1][2] His godparents were Clement Caissie and Marie Boucher.
Pierre married Dina Landry, daughter of Simon Landry and Madeleine Hébert, on 19 Nov 1877 in Grande-Digue.[3]
