Jesse Boudreau is a descendant of an Acadian

Joseph Jesse Boudreau was born December 28, 1874[1] in Tusket Wedge, Nova Scotia.[1][2]
He was the son of Fabien Boudreau and Philomene Cottreau.[1]
He grew up in the family home located along the Corporon Road in Tusket Wedge.[3][2]He was a fisherman,[4] and a cook by trade.[5]
He married Marguerite Alphonsine Boudreau, the daughter of Alexandre Boudreau and Melanie Deveau, on November 27, 1901 in Tusket Wedge.[4][2]
The couple settled into the home he had built next to that of his father on the Corporon Road in Tusket Wedge[3][2] where they raised a family of 10 children:[6]:

3. Rose Marguerite born a twin in 1907[9]
4. Anne Isabelle "Annabelle" born a twin in 1907[10]
5. Mary Jeanette born in 1908[11]

8. Elizabeth Emilie born in 1916[14]
9. Adele Vivianne born in 1920[15]
10. Marie Eveline "Evelyn" born in 1925 (She was actually the natural daughter of Rose Marguerite Boudreau who had died a few weeks after giving birth).[16][17]

Joseph Jesse died October 22, 1955 in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, [5][2] and his funeral was held October 25, 1955 at St. Michael's in Wedgeport.[6]
