Biography

Georgianna was born on October 7, 1872. Georgianna Boudreau married Léonidas Martin on May 10, 1897 in Chartierville, Quebec. She passed away June 24, 1915 in Chartierville. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]}

There is more than a bit of confusion regarding the spelling of this person's first name. Her birth/baptism record and her mortuary card spell her first name as Georgianna. Her marriage record spells her first name as Georgina. The 1881 census record appears to spell her first name as Georgina although the image is somewhat blurred. The 1901 census record is really blurry although her first name appears to be spelled Georginna. Her death record in the St. Jean-Baptiste 1915 parish diary spells her first name as Georgiana. I have used "Georgianna" as the spelling of her first name as her birth/baptism record (written while her parents were probably present) and her mortuary card (composed by people who presumably knew her well) seem the most reliable of these records.

Georgianna's last name also appears in two different forms in various records. For example, her last name is given as Boudreault in the parish diary records of her birth and of her marriage to Léonidas Martin but appears as Boudreau in the 1881 Canada census listing and in the parish diary record of her death.
