Biography

Sophie was born in Yamachiche on 9 January 1833. She was the daughter of Frédéric Bourassa and Julie St.Pierre.[1]

In St-Barnabé on 18 August 1852, were married Narcisse St-Pierre minor son of Jean St-Pierre and Angèle Boisvert from this parish et Sophie Bourassa minor daughter of Frédéric Bourassa and Julie-St-Pierre also from this parish. ("dispense du second degré de consanguinité obtenue" - They are first cousins).[2]

Sophie Bourassa, widow of the late Narcisse St.Pierre, passed away in St-Barnabé on 8 June 1913.
