Biography
Jean Joseph was born about 1766. He was the son of Charles Bourg and Anne Richard. He was baptised in 1768 in St-Antoine-dur-Richelieu, noted that he was from New England, Connecticut and was age 2 and noted as an Acadian.[1] (Note that PRDH gives his birthplace as Massachusetts, but his baptism says New England. His parents had been deported to Connecticut and moved to Quebec by 1768.
Jean Joseph was married to Marie Dumas on 9-23-1793 [2]
