Barnabé was born about 1879. He was the son of Marc Bourque and Marcelline Comeau. He married Adélice Gaudet, daughter of Thomas Gaudet and Nathalie Bourgeois in Haute-Aboujagane on 8 Feb 1904.[1] He passed away in 1960.[2]

B. Bourque Succumbs The death or Barnabee Bourque, 81 years, St. Paul Kent County, occurred in the Hotel Dieu, Friday morning after a lingering illness. He was born in St. Paul, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marc Bourque. His wife died in 1921. Surviving are four sons, Alyre, Dorchester Crossing, Harvey, Moncton , Fred, St. Anselme, and Alban, Aboujagane; four daughters, Mrs. Edgar Leger (Florence) and Mrs. Ted Leger (Lidia), both of Salem, Mass., Mrs. Laurence LaMoureaux, Montreal and Mrs. Alban Bourgeois (Trivina), Dover, N.B.; six brothers, Antoine and Everest Bourque, Saint John; John, Minto, Fred, Moncton, Fidele, St. Paul and Marc, Harcourt; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Bourque, Saint John, Mrs. Philias Melanson, Moncton, and Mrs. Thomas England, Minto. The body is resting in Frenette's Funeral Home, 215 St. George Street; Moncton. The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Roman Catholic Church, Scoudouc. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The cortege will leave the funeral home for Scoudouc at 1.15 p.m.[3]
