Biography
George A. Bowman, a clergyman, and resident of Waltham, died 17 July 1906, at 562 Main Street, Waltham, Massachusetts. He was age 85 years, 7 months and 14 days, and son of Joshua Bowman (b. Bath, Maine) and Ernestine Lord (incorrectly says his death certificate). Ernestine Lord was his wife. The information was given by his daughter Mrs. W. D. Parkinson. He was to be buried at the Centre Cemetery in East Hartford, Connecticut.[1]
George Augustus Bowman's mother was Hannah Flagg North.[2]
The funeral of Rev. George A. Bowman was held at his grave in Center Cemetery 6 o'clock 20 July 1906, the body having arrived from Waltham, at 5:02.[3]
