Biography

David Bowman was born in 1840 in Tennessee, United States.

David married Margret Kiffer on 24 November 1874 in Shelby, Alabama, United States.^[1] They had two children:

1. Annie Bowman 1876–1971 ^[2]
2. William Thomas Bowman 1879– ^[2]

David died before 1879 in Shelby, Alabama aged ~35.^[2]

He does not show up in the family in the 1880 Census. In the 1880 census Margret Bowman (age 35), Work In Farm, was the widowed daughter of L. A. Kifer in Harpersville, Shelby, Alabama, United States.^[2]

David Bowman and Margaret Kifer are recorded in their daughter Annie Bowman Atkinson's death Certificate. She died in 1971 in Sylacauga, Talladega, Alabama, United States.^[3]
