Fannie Mae Boyd was born on 11 May 1917 in Jacksonville, Duval, Florida, United States, daughter of Lena Unknown.

She married James Little on 6 January 1940 in Putnam, Florida, United States. They separated before she enlisted in the US Army in 1943, later divorcing on 14 Nov 1945.[1] [2]

Fannie enlisted in the US Women's Army Corps on 10 Feb 1943. She had completed two years of college and was an elementary school teacher.[3]

Fannie died on 4 Jun 1975 in probably Florida, aged 58.[4]
